#fifteenKERBxmas

After the disappointment that I had at We Feast I wasn't pushing to go to any 'events' and had intended on spending the day at home doing nothing, but thankfully the Mrs forced me to KERB's Christmas market outside Jamie Oliver's Fifteen restaurant, and what a day it was.

There was tasty food, great music and the perfect event to get you in the Christmas mood.

Check out a few photos from the event below.

New Burger Restaurants in London

New Burger Restaurants!

The London burger craze is about to be hit with 3 new restaurants all opening this week. Patty & Bun, BRGR.CO and Burger & Shake.

With just a couple of miles between these and already established burger joints; MEATliquor, Honest Burgers, Burger & Lobster, Tommis to name a few AND with USA hit Shake Shack coming, 2013 looks to be very exciting.

BRGR.CO and Burger & Shake are newcomers to the London Burger scene however Patty&Bun have a good following already with residency popups at Doodle bar and Endurance.

I've sampled P&B at We Feast earlier this year, his burgers are sensational; I had an Ari Gold's and a Smokey Robinson within an hour.

Competition is going to be fierce, which can only be a good thing for us BurgerAddicts.
Good luck to them all.

Pitt Cue Co. London

Finally I made it to Pitt Cue co.

Located on the corner of Ganton Street about a 5 min walk from Oxford Street tube station you walk straight into the bar area, the restaurant is downstairs and its the bar area you wait in until your table is available, giving the 4 of us enough time to drink a few Whatever beers and look over today's menu.

Super Sized McGangBang, McDonalds

So after my previous McGangBang I concluded that the beef patty was too small and was out gunned by the bread in the burger so I decided to try it again with the bigger quarter pounder burger.

I asked for a double cheeseburger but with quarter pounder beef patty's, and the server said I could just have a double quarter pounder, which they serve already, and it would be quicker to price up. Sold. The only difference would be the bun is bigger but I didn't think it would be that big a difference.

Can't believe I am doing this again....

Step 1: Order 1 Double Quarter Pounder & 1 McChicken Sandwich

McGangBang, McDonalds

Please be warned; some people may find the following post offensive. No people however were harmed physically or mentally in the construction or consuming of this burger.

So after a good few hours in the Big Chill Irish Olympic House Saturday night, the walk home brought me face to face with McDonald's. Confidence high I decided now was the time to ask for a McGangBang. Something I had heard about previously on twitter and on the web but never had seen anyone order or eat anything like it. If you don't know what it is and don't want to google something with gangbang in the name, it is a McChicken sandwich wrapped in a double cheese burger.

I ordered the McGangBang to laughter from the guy serving. He knew what it was and tried to resist at first then surrendered saying he will deliver the meal but I will have to put it together myself, fine by me.

Few seconds later my Double Cheeseburger and McChicken sandwich were on the counter.
