Not a burger but something so perfect I had to post about it.

I found eggslut on www.roaminghunger.com which is a fantastic site showing you what food trucks are in your area across America and what they are serving.

Find and track your favorite food trucks and food carts with Roaming Hunger, the hub for all things street food. Use the interactive city map to find out where your next meal is parked or browse through our list of tasty vendors. And remember, napkins not included.

Something like this would be great in London and would help boost street food quantity and quality.

Located in a cool industrial area by very fashionable open plan coffee shop called Handsome Coffee - the truck was positioned with a handful of people waiting for food.

We placed our order and MBA went off to get some coffee as the truck doesn't sell any drinks. While we waited another couple collected their food and unfortunately dropped one of their breakfast rolls and the good man serving at eggslut asked what it was and not to worry as they will make him another one - the kind of service and kindness that will make you go back again and again.

Our order came in and it smelt heavenly. We decided to go and enjoy these over by the '500 Days of Summer' Bench so quickly made our way to the car.

MEAT - The turkey breakfast sausage surprised me at how good it was. It wasn't greasy like it could have been.

BUN -  Really was spectacular, as if it had just come out of the oven, been lightly toasted then handed to you. It had a dry texture but this worked wonderfully with the fillings.

TOPPINGS - Egg-celentl! The egg was cooked perfectly, any less would have been too runny, any more would have been too rubbery. The cheese and the honey mustard really, very delicately, brought it all together.

SIDES

This was like a McDonalds McMuffin but home-made and pumped full of flavour and not a bit of grease in sight!

Eggslut have had various good write-ups in the states and I am giving them another one. I wont give this a rating out of 10 but do go and check these guys out, especially if from the UK as we simply don't get this kind of food and service at home, especially from a truck!
