Super Sized McGangBang, McDonalds

So after my previous McGangBang I concluded that the beef patty was too small and was out gunned by the bread in the burger so I decided to try it again with the bigger quarter pounder burger.

I asked for a double cheeseburger but with quarter pounder beef patty's, and the server said I could just have a double quarter pounder, which they serve already, and it would be quicker to price up. Sold. The only difference would be the bun is bigger but I didn't think it would be that big a difference.

Can't believe I am doing this again....

Step 1: Order 1 Double Quarter Pounder & 1 McChicken Sandwich

Step 2: Open

Step 3: Split the Double Quarter Pounder

Step 4: Place the McChicken Sandwich on the bottom Quarter Pounder

Step 5: Place the top of the Quarter Pounder on the McChicken Sandwich.

Super Sized McGangBang done.

The bottom of the double quarter pounder bun was quite heavily toasted as you can see from the picture 2 up and there was a bit too much mayo in the McChicken Sandwich as well.

This is a HUGE burger, nearly too big for me but I fought through. There was still a bit too much bun here so next time, if there ever is a next time, I will insist on the cheeseburger bun.

  1. I used to get a double quarter pounder on the way into work in a restaurant i used to work at, and because they would never have them ready, they would alwys would cook it fresh, then get a couple of pieces of freshly grilled bacon from the chef at my restaurant as my staff meal with some tabasco and voila bacon double cheeseburger jumbo style and fresh too!

  2. It's a cool idea. I wonder why they've never done that themselves.
