Burger & Shake Soft Launch

As previously reported Burger & Shake are due to open this Saturday at 17:30, however I was lucky enough to be invited to a soft launch last night, a chance for me to sample their food and give them my honest feedback before opening.

This was my 1st soft launch event and the 1st "perk" from the blog so was quite excited and apprehensive about what to expect. MBA had to work late so FatPants stepped in at the last minute.

We were welcomed by a friendly manager and owner upon arrival and taken to our seats. Initially reactions on the venue were good, it has a homely café feel with pastel tiles and nice intimate lighting.

I don't think its fair to review a place on a soft launch so hopefully I'll just give you a taster of what's on offer;

We were given their signature cocktail, the Ovaltini which was coconut, rum, tequila and toffee liquor and it was a crowd pleaser. I have given up saying I am just a beer drinker now and with drinks like this its easy to see why, think we polished off 4 each.

Wings delivered to the table and the spice aroma hits you straight away; they taste gooood. Couldn't fault the wings, subsequently didn't try out the blue cheese dip.

The burger is good, being a soft launch I will keep a dissected review for another time but promise of a great burger with a few minor tweaks. David Dwek summed the burger up beautifully "A perfect combination of trashy and classy"

Opening tomorrow so add them to your to-do-list.

  1. its looks to be the best burgers like the buurgers of jimmyhula of orlando.
