Burger Tasting for Deliverance - Day 4

The score going into today is 3-0 to the classics, so the new burgers have just pride to play for. Let's see how they matched off today.

The Classic Burger

Chicken & Chorizo Burger - Garlic & herb marinated chicken breast, Brindisa chorizo, Spanish aioli, chilli jam, lettuce and tomato.

The New Burger
The Burgerification of a Deliverance Cobb salad - Garlic & herb marinated chicken breast, smoked streaky bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, boiled egg, avocado and blue cheese dressing.

Result - The chicken was the same in both - fantastically cooked with not one dry bite in sight. Despite the overload of toppings in the new burger, the chicken still came through as the dominant flavour. The classic, with the chicken and chorizo, was probably the best combination Deliverance have delivered so far. I've found chorizo in burgers previously that give an unpleasant pull on your bite, but no issue with these - soft enough for no pull and tough enough to not be limp. A close competition today, but the classic burgers are running riot. 4-0.
