Tick Tock Diner, Manhattan, New York

Burger: 1/2lb Beef Burger
Price: $10.5

Location: 481 8th Avenue, New York

Located in tourist trap city, this was exactly the kind of place I wanted to avoid this time around, but convenience won and this became my first meal.

Being able to order medium rare is a luxury Ameicans have no matter where you are(Five Guys excluded), with here being no different. When in a 'new' restaurant in England I have to wait with baited breath when ordering, fully expecting to hear "sorry we can't do medium rare, EU.......well done burger".

Plated up the burger doesn't look very special and the taste is, as it looks. When the best part of the burger was the's not really what I'm looking for.

The bun was football van standard. Beef had appeared to have been basted in butter and gave a strong buttery flavour(this was def butter and not well aged), but let down by a texture that was, for the majority, bitty and chewy. Tomato was far to thick, and that's it really. Not much more I can add. Not worth visiting.
